About me
My name is Gary Purdue and I was born and bred in Hull. I went to Beverley Grammar School and then went on to Huddersfield University and gained a degree in Multimedia Design.
After leaving university I worked at Web Marketplace Solutions in Beverley temporarily for 6 weeks, working on websites for clients such as Debenhams and Next.
I then worked at Evolution Interactive, which is also in Beverley. Here I primarily worked in Macromedia Director producing work for Smith & Nephew. I also did web based work for other clients such as Swift Caravans and the local racing driver, Guy Smith.
After working at Evolution Interactive for 2 years I joined Teknical, who are now part of Serco. Here I create content for E-learning using Macromedia Flash. So far I have done work for the NHS and some local education authorities.
My philosophy
My aim is to create websites for local people and local businesses, utilising my skills, yet not charging a fortune. I want to give people websites they can be proud of, that I can be proud of and that don't cost a fortune.
